One has to wonder why it seems quite a few models on the site WHISPER back their comment when it is merely to something that was said in open chat. Have whispered to them that it is better for more open chat in the room to perhaps to get others to join in. Sadly in most cases the whispers just continue. Not sure if this is a setting on their system where all chat from their end must be whisper or not. :winkwink

I think part of the reason why we whisper and as well models is probably because when we chat in a public area and when we have conversations others can see what we write. Which is fine but sometimes if like for example we r saying hot things to each other we tend to whisper it so one is nosy on what we write. Not to mention it makes clients a bit bitter. I personally like whispers in my opinion only because I like the privacy just between us.

Thanks for asking this in the forums. Whisper messages are free one-on-one private chat messages exchanged between users and models. You can choose to keep whispers active by selecting the gear icon near your name then choose Type in Whispers Only if you want to use this option or disable this option. -CP

I think the point I was trying to get across was the fact that it is not about MEMBERS whispering but rather models whispering in response to comments made in open chat.
As for the EXCESSIVE whispering by some members that is as they say another kettle of fish which sad to say tends to turn chatrooms into ghost rooms.
Hint before going for an instant response REREAD what I have said. I know there are some on the site who hate my guts for speaking out. Hint sluttygirl I am not referring to you.

I think models do that so that you know they are responding to your comment. Otherwise, they have to type your name in the open chat which is a bunch of extra keystrokes. I actually like it when they whisper to my open chat. It makes me feel special, hehe! I like the attention.

danigo there is one flaw to what you have just said and that is if they whisper back logic says they would have to type the member's name in as well. If this is a software issue where there is a whisper link to the actual member's name then one would think just clicking on the member's name would be the way they would respond in open chat.
Hopefully that makes what I said very clear.
